A New Home for Heartitude

My Journey to PAFA Advisory
For years, I’ve been searching for a fertile home... A place where Heartitude could truly take root, grow, and flourish. Heartitude isn’t just a philosophy I created for my agency; it’s a belief system shaped through more than a decade in this profession. It’s the conviction that knowledge, skill, and habit only matter when anchored in the right heart. It’s about leading with sincerity, serving with purpose, and building people, not just production. But let’s be honest… not every place embraces that.
In some environments, Heartitude was seen as too idealistic, even naïve. Our emphasis on doing good quietly was overshadowed by louder metrics. Our lower production—though slowly improving—was politely ignored. Our volunteerism, community work, and desire to uplift others… treated as “nice to have,” but not valuable enough to matter.
It was painful to realise that what I valued most wasn’t valued where I was.
Still, I persevered. I fought for what I believed in, I tried to champion the right culture, but there comes a point where you recognise that the soil you’re planting in is simply not fertile for what you hope to grow.
And so, with a heavy yet hopeful heart, I prayed. Earnestly. Consistently. I asked for a place where my dreams didn’t sound unrealistic, where my beliefs weren’t seen as childish, where my strengths weren’t brushed aside. I prayed for a place that would embrace every part of me—my heart, my ideals, my leadership style, my desire to build something meaningful.
And God answered.

Finding PAFA: A Place With Potential, Heart, and Humanity
PAFA Advisory may be a relatively young FA, but from the moment I stepped in, I could feel the potential pulsing in every corner of the organisation. It’s a firm built not only on technical competence, but on heart and humanity—qualities that are getting rarer these days.
At the centre of it all is Kartina, our founder. A warm, bubbly, and deeply sincere mother to her only daughter, she has this unique ability to make you feel seen, heard, and supported. She encourages. She listens. She’s patient—even with our constant requests—and yet she carries a quiet strength. She stands firm in her beliefs, and I deeply respect that. It’s clear why so many people gravitate towards her; her energy isn’t just positive, it’s magnetic.
And the family spirit doesn’t stop there.
Her brother, Kartono, runs the firm as CEO. A reserved man at first glance, he lights up the moment you talk to him about his investment portfolios. Behind that quiet exterior is a gentle, thoughtful leader who shares the same kindness as his sister.
Then there’s Kariyadi, their younger brother in operations—another rare gem. Kind, diligent, steady. It’s increasingly uncommon to find such genuine people clustered in one organisation, yet PAFA somehow has them all under one roof.
And I must mention Ann, our veteran in compliance. She works tirelessly to screen our recommendations, ensuring that we operate at the highest standards. She may seem strict on the surface, but she wears that role out of responsibility, not rigidity. In truth, she cares deeply for the consultants and even more for the integrity of our practice.
The rest of the crew? Simply amazing. Helpful, humble, hardworking, and always ready to support each other.

Yes, We’re Lean. But We’re Helpful To Each Other.
PAFA currently runs with a lean, almost skeletal team, and our paper processes are still... evolving. But to my surprise—and delight—nobody complains. Instead, everyone steps up. We chip in. We help with training. We support each other with paperwork. We troubleshoot. We share knowledge.
No one says, “This is not my job.”
That, to me, is a rare culture. A culture worth building on. A culture worth protecting.
And if you’re someone who values purpose over politics, growth over ego, and heart over hierarchy… you will feel at home here too.
What I’ve Learned: When You Enjoy Going to the Office, You’ve Found Your Place
My work mantra is simple:
If you enjoy going to the office early…
If you can do your best without fear…
If you feel safe, supported, and seen…
Then you’ve found a great agency...
You’ve found your new home!
And that’s exactly how PAFA feels for me.
A home for Heartitude.
A home for growth.
A home for dreamers who are ready to turn their ideals into action.
A home for consultants who want to do meaningful work without losing their soul.

If You’re Looking for a Place to Grow. Read The Following Carefully
I’m sharing this not just as a personal story, but also as an open invitation.
If you’ve ever felt:
underappreciated
misunderstood
stuck

or eager to find a place where your heart and work can finally align
Then perhaps PAFA is where you’re meant to be too.
We’re building something meaningful here. Something people-first. Something heart-led. Something future-ready. And I’m looking for people who want to be part of that.
Not just people who want a career change…But people who want a life change.People who want to grow communities, not just their income.People who want to build a legacy with sincerity, integrity, and heart.
If that sounds like you, my door—and my heart—is open.
Let’s talk.Let’s dream.Let’s build something we can be proud of.
Because Heartitude has finally found its home. And maybe, just maybe, yours is waiting here too.
